Miguel Nieves is the Founder & Lead AI Engineer at askmiguel.ai, a veteran-owned AI agency that builds practical AI systems for businesses—automation, workflow optimization, data products, and bespoke AI tools. He leads end-to-end delivery: scoping, rapid prototyping, secure deployment, and ongoing optimization tied to revenue or cost savings. Beyond client work, Miguel runs an online AI community where he teaches his students how to implement AI.
Previously a Microsoft AI Engineer and a U.S. Marine Corps Captain, Miguel led teams, shipped enterprise AI, and managed $236M+ in assets while deploying data-driven logistics and decision systems. He is a U.S. Naval Academy graduate (Top 6%), B.S. in Math/Computer Science.
Miguel works with clients worldwide, travels regularly for onsite delivery, and operates comfortably across cultures—being fluent in English, Spanish, French and conversational in Korean (also holds university degrees in East Asian Studies and French culture).
